RP/English neutral, Versatile, Commanding, Warm, Clear, Classic
Emily is a versatile and experienced voice artist, with a commanding, warm and clear delivery. She has a great ear for characters and accents, loads of energy and excellent comic timing.
Emily has twenty years of experience as a voiceover artist, and always brings a lot of energy to her sessions. A safe pair of hands for corporate videos, she can also dial up the energy for idents and adverts. Her voice has featured regularly on Radio 4, sensitively reading poetry on Something Understood and playing a range of historical characters in The History of Private Life and Family Britain. In audiobooks, she is the narrator for the Lockwood and Co series & has just finished a brilliant American YA novel called Switchling.
As an actor, her big break was playing medicated zombie Amy Dyer in BAFTA winning BBC TV series In The Flesh. She can currently be seen in The Marlow Murder Club on PBS Masterpiece and Funny Woman Series 2 on Sky. Other recent work includes The Full Monty for Disney+, Temple, Midsomer Murders (in which she played twins!), Domina, Soulmates, Grantchester, Doc Marten, Uncle, The Casual Vacancy, The Thick of It, and Phoneshop. Films include Breathe, Williams, The Carer, Crow and St Trinians.
She is also the author of The Diary of Losing Dad, and is writing her first feature.
Emily's corporate clients include Renault, Simply Be, Homedics, Scholl, Shell, Party Poker, Invisalign, UNESCO and Kenco.
