John Kirk ★

John Kirk is an experienced and versatile voice-over artist with a naturally warm, neutral tone and a subtle hint of Yorkshire. A trained actor with years of stage and screen experience, John brings depth, authenticity, and adaptability to every project.

He’s skilled in a wide range of regional accents — from Yorkshire, the Northeast, Liverpool, and London to Scottish (particularly Glaswegian) and both Northern and Southern Irish.
After living and working in the U.S., John also perfected a confident New York accent. His versatility, professionalism, and sense of play make him a pleasure to work with in any studio environment.

Originally from Hull, John trained in drama after years in youth and semi-professional theatre. His early days working on building sites across the UK gave him an ear for the rich diversity of regional voices — a skill that now defines much of his vocal work.

Alongside his acting and VO career, John is a qualified yoga teacher, running classes and retreats in the UK and abroad. He’s also a dad to two boys (and two cats) — and when he’s not behind the mic or on the mat, you might just find him skydiving.
