Memet Ali Alabora features in BBC’s latest british drama ‘Wild Cherry’

We are delighted to share that Memet Ali Alabora appears in the BBC’s newest drama series Wild Cherry, portraying the role of Omar Abas.

Written and created by Nicôle Lecky and directed by Toby Macdonald, Wild Cherry centres on a privileged circle of mothers in Surrey whose seemingly perfect lives begin to fracture when their daughters become embroiled in an online scandal.

As the latest addition to BBC One’s slate, this compelling coming-of-age drama delves into the complexities of mother–daughter relationships within an affluent gated community. At its heart are lifelong friends Lorna, a self-made entrepreneur, and Juliet, who has inherited her wealth.

The series features outstanding performances from Carmen Ejogo (The Penguin, Your Honour) as Lorna, and Eve Best (House of the Dragon) as Juliet.
