Annice simply has a strong and effortless connection to text. Annice originally hails from the Black Country in the West Midlands and is proudly British Asian.

She trained at one of the top 5 UK drama schools, The Oxford School of Drama, on the 3-year acting course. Whilst there she received exceptional classical training in Shakespeare, Chekov and 1920’s scripts as well as contemporary texts and poetry. Her voice training specialised in Linklater work and allowed her to confidently explore the use of accents and sound to create stories.

Since graduating Annice has had consistent success in her acting work, including playing a lead role in J’Ouvert at The Harold Pinter Theatre (West End) for Sonia Friedman Productions, working with The RSC on Faith and appearances in a range of TV shows including Call The Midwife (BBC), Doctors
(BBC) and Anansi Boys (Amazon Prime). As well as working with Audible and The National Theatre on audio projects.

Annice frequently uses an Indian accent in her work, having spent a lot of time at her grandparents corner shop growing up who were first generation immigrants from Punjab, she has a strong connection to the accent. In addition to this, she has also played a range of characters originating from Afghanistan to Yorkshire!

Annice loves being versatile with her work and finds joy in being able to switch into the worlds of different beings.

Outside of her acting work Annice has done a lot of voice coaching work within the corporate and medical sectors including PwC, OC&C, NHS and the civil service. Giving her an incredible insight in many areas of work and the type of language that is used within their cultures. She uses her voice training and
classical text to help others to connect which is something she is hugely passionate about.

She is also a founding member of Speakbeat Collective, hosting regular spoken word and performance events at The Bush Theatre and Southwark Playhouse.

Annice is a fresh voice to the VO industry, and she can’t wait to see where this journey takes her.
