Poppy Abbott

Poppy is a fresh, dynamic voice artist bringing energy, warmth, and character to every read. Based in Birmingham, she’s an actor, writer, and producer - giving her a strong instinct for storytelling and performance.

Her voice credits include BBC New Creatives’ The Graveyard Shift and multiple roles in The Abnormal Series. On screen, she’s appeared in multiple short films and is filming for two new series shooting in Birmingham. She has toured nationally and has also performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Poppy’s voice is youthful, bright, and engaging - perfect for animation, games, audiobooks, kids’ content, and commercials. She has a natural neutral/RP accent and can easily switch into Cockney having lived in Peckham as a child.

She co-produced and starred in the RTS Midlands Award-winning short No Worries If Not!. Alongside her performance work she also writes, with her award-winning screenplay Walkby currently in development.
