Joshua Lay

Joshua can deliver the expected but can always deliver something a little more unexpected when required. Takes direction well and can lend his tone to a wide spectrum of VO projects.

Joshua is from Surrey with training at The BRIT School and Arts Educational School. He has years of experience in Theatre and TV ranging from the West End, Paris, Sky Arts and Netflix. Roles includes Rudolpho in RSC's Matilda the Musical (Cambridge Theatre, West End) to playing opposite Sheridan Smith in Funny Girl the Musical (recorded for Sky Arts).

Last year he was seen in a musical comedy skit as Angel Gabriel with Jack Whitehall for his Netflix Christmas special 'Jack Whitehall Christmas with My Father'.

Recently he has been in various workshops for new productions led by creatives including Trevor Nunn, Christopher Wheeldon and David Walliams. Upcoming work includes a major motion picture that is yet to be announced.
